All market data served by this site — through the MCP tools, /api/*, /download, and every chart — is sourced from the ENTSO-E Transparency Platform and republished with source attribution as required by the ENTSO-E Transparency Platform Terms & Conditions of Use (version of 29 March 2023). This site is not affiliated with or endorsed by ENTSO-E.

Datasets under CC-BY 4.0

ENTSO-E publishes a List of Data Available for Free Re-use (version of 18 October 2023). Datasets on that list may be re-used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC-BY 4.0): attribution to the ENTSO-E Transparency Platform is required, and any changes must be indicated. Of the datasets served here, the following are on that list:

• Imbalance settlement prices — imbalance_prices
• Imbalance volumes — imbalance_volumes
• Cross-border physical flows — crossborder_flow. Exception: data provided by the IFA and NemoLink interconnectors (Great Britain borders) is excluded from the free re-use list.
• Day-ahead net transfer capacity — net_transfer_capacity_dayahead
• Day-ahead load forecast — load_forecast
• Procured balancing capacity (aFRR) — procured_balancing_capacity_afrr

Changes made by this site to those datasets: timestamps are converted to UTC and values are stored as typed columns; aFRR capacity prices are normalised to EUR/MW/h (the platform publishes EUR/MW per settlement period); optional hourly/daily/monthly aggregations are computed on request. Underlying values are otherwise passed through unchanged.

Datasets republished under the Terms of Use

The remaining datasets served here are not on the free re-use list. They are republished from the ENTSO-E Transparency Platform with source attribution under its Terms of Use. No licence for onward re-use is granted or implied by this site — if you redistribute or commercially re-use them, assessing whether and how you may do so (including any rights of the primary owners of the data, such as power exchanges for auction prices) is your responsibility.

Derived metrics

Computed metrics (capture price, capture rate, baseload price, negative-price hours, residual load, RES share, spreads) are calculated by this site from the source data and are the maintainer's own work.
